If you are eagerly waiting to buy your first SmartWatch then i have some very good news for you. Two high end SmartWatches have gotten permanent price cuts on Google Play store. The LG G Watch R has been cut by a nice $50 following the release of its much more beautiful LG Watch Urbane today, making it just $250 to buy one. LG Watch Urbane is now available on the Google Play Store at $350. Watch Urbane is similar to the G Watch R in almost every way except for design. The G Watch R features stainless steel body with a brushed metal finish, while the Watch Urbane features a more high-end look and is available in gold and silver.
Meanwhile, the Motorola Moto 360, which was for a while on the high end of SmartWatches, is now only $179 from $249. This is the second time recently that Motorola and Google have cut the price of the Moto 360.
In addition to these price cuts, both watches are slated to receive the Android 5.1.1 update. While the G Watch R will not have Wi-Fi capabilities due to hardware limitations, the Moto 360 will be able to connect to Wi-Fi. Motorola is rumored to be working on a Moto 360 SmartWatch successor with a 360×360 pixel screen and has thinner bezels. However, there is no estimated date of arrival for this model.
