There is no argument over the most discussed (negatively) topic on Apple Watch. Its the battery itself. Apple claims that its iPhone-compatible smartwatch achieved all-day battery life of 18 hours during tests under normal usage. As fast as the Apple Watch battery drains, it recharges even quicker using Apple's MagSafe inductive charger, which is included in the box.
Recharging the smartwatch to 80% takes 1.5 hours, according to Apple's official tests, and a 100% full charge takes 2.5 hours. This charge time was tested by Apple back in March using preproduction hardware and software paired with an iPhone running preproduction software. The company says charge time "varies with environmental factors."
That's about the same time as other smartwatches currently in the market. Which of course you won't really notice at night.
