Apple has released the first software update for Apple Watch today with the release of Watch OS 1.0.1. The update is available through the Apple Watch app on iPhone. The download comes in at 51.6MB, and as the version number implies this is all about fixing bugs and improving performance for various bits of the Apple Watch experience. In addition, the software update delivers display support for new emoji characters and more than half a dozen new languages.
