The Apple Watch is going mass-market. Best Buy says it will sell the Apple Watch at 100 of its stores and on its website on August 7. Another 200 Best Buy stores will offer the smartwatch before the end of the year, making it the first national retailer outside of Apple Stores to stock the smartwatch in USA.
The retailer will carry 16 models of the smartwatch, including Sport and Watch models in both 38mm and 42mm sizes, as well as around 50 accessories, including watch bands, screen shields, stands, and chargers. The retailer will not sell the Edition model.

It's another step on the road to global domination for the Apple Watch, since despite not really being widely available in its first nine weeks of life. The company has already pulled in roughly a billion dollars worth of sales and could barely make the hardware fast enough to keep up with demand. Apple Chief Financial Officer Luca Maestri told Reuters earlier this month that sales of the Apple Watch had beat the company's expectations. He said in the nine weeks since its launch in late April, the device had sold better than either iPhones or iPads over a similar period after their launch.
