Earlier this week, Pebble opened pre-orders for the Time smartwatch. While pre-orders stateside are exclusive to Best Buy, outside of the US, potential customers can pre-order the smartwatch from Pebble’s own online store. However, if you live in Canada, you can now also place your pre-order on Best Buy.
Pebble raised a record $20 million on Kickstarter for the device, which now has a color e-paper display and a much improved OS. The timepiece will also allow you to load as many apps on the watch as will fit. The original Pebble and Pebble Steel could only hold eight apps at one time. Best Buy is pricing the timepiece at $199.99 each.

The Pebble Time comes with a 1.25-inch colour e-paper screen and sports an impressive seven-day battery life. At 9.5mm, it’s 20 per cent thinner than the original Pebble and the overall dimensions are 40.5 x 37.5 x 9.5mm with a weight of 42.5 grams. Apart from the specs, the major overhaul with the Pebble Time is its Timeline feature, which organizes all your important apps and information into a scrollable, chronological sequence.
The online retailer is selling the black, red, and white colour variants of the wearable device for CAD 250, which translates into around $203. It’s worth mentioning that over in the US, Pebble Time will set you back $200. Best Buy expects to ship the Pebble Time in Canada no later than July 27th, and that there are no extra shipping charges.
